William H. Bodenhamer, Jr. founded USA Parking System in 1980. USA Parking, the "Hospitality Parking Company," became a subsidiary of Central Parking System in 2001. USA Parking operates in 5 states and Puerto Rico and strives to provide clients with innovative, proactive and responsible methods of operational management. The Company’s specialty is the management of high end, service intensive parking facilities which include resorts, office and mixed-use projects, retail/entertainment venues and airports. From 1976 to 1991, Mr. Bodenhamer held executive positions with such organizations as Gray Line and Yellow Cab of Ft. Lauderdale. Mr. Bodenhamer serves on numerous committees and boards in various roles. These include: the American Automobile Association, Chairman of the Florida Advisory Board 1994-1997, Chairman of the Marketing and Advertising Committee 1991-1997, member of the Tourist Development Council for ten (10) years, Board of Directors of AAA Club South from 1998 to present, East Carolina University Board of Trustees 2003-2007, and recipient of the 2005 Hospitality Sales and Marketing Excellence Award.
